this is the first time for this author that I'm indulging myself and a most enjoyable read

the heroine, a slightly geeky DI is far from being stupid and saves the day in most respects

a good twist in the tale goes without saying and I would recommend this read to anyone who enjoys suspense with a touch of romance entwined

This novel certainly keeps one turning the pages however, the heroine in this story doesn't appeal to my sense of integrity remotely. Her younger sibling who appears to have messed up most of her life, is by far "the better sister".

I shall leave any future readers to decide for themselves, the reason why

For those theologians interested in history (biblical and secular) = an interesting account

A mental health facility in the 1960s when the law was different yet still aware of those who could manipulate others to the point of exclusion of all else

Written superbly well with a knowledge of psychology used to treat those with long term mental health issues, this novel will keep the reader entertained right until the inevitable final page

Desiree and Desire - a younger sibling looking to be betrothed for love (book 3)
