...I'd rather know just one part of the journey and than have a sort of flashback, or in the case of The Lord of the Rings I'd love if Gandalf went back on his steps retelling us of his journey, as he sort of did in the first part/book.
But maybe the moment we'll meet Frodo and Sam again will have been worth the wait, I truly hope so!

I feel like Tolkien might expand a bit too much the world, I felt so invested till the end of the first part (the Fellowship of the Ring) but now we still haven't seen Frodo and Sam and I still don't know where they are. Generally I'm not a big fan of "everyone does their thing and we meet in the end together"...
