To be honest I'm getting a little bit bored of the book, it's pacing is slow. It's a slice of life of Lucy Snowe but there's very little excitement that happens. Hoping the last 200+ pages are more interesting

Genuinely what a sweet line. I love how earnest Celia is while saying it too.

A very interesting read so far. Not only is it wonderful social commentary, in particular the last few years, but it also shows how hectic and confusing difficult situations can be (I'll abstain from writing too much, lest I spoil anything). Overall the pacing has been marvelous and the characters are artfully described!
