Het is ongelooflijk goed geschreven, maar ik weet niet of ik het ga volhouden. Ik zie op mijn werk met regelmatig jonge slachtoffers van zedendelicten en heb eerlijk gezegd best moeite om dit te lezen (luisteren). Tegelijkertijd snap ik dat deze boeken ook geschreven moeten worden. Het gaat tijdelijk aan de kant...

Rolien is on page 195 of 1015 of House of Chains (Malazan Book of the Fallen, #4)

Still in the first part and enjoying it, despite the not-very-likable Karsa. I do enjoy reading about him, though and love his interactions with other characters.
Unfortunately, I need to put the book on hold for a few weeks. The font is a bit small and straining for my eyes. Just had my eyes tested and will continue this book when I get my glasses. Because apparently I need them... 😅

Rolien is on page 22 of 427 of Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle #1)

Finally started this. Started the audiobook before, now realizing why I felt confused. Two different encounters with men are alternated; in the ebook this is quite clear because of cursive script. But in the audiobook it more or less mingled together for me and didn't make sense at all.
Glad for the switch to ebook.
