Purely reading on due to my aversion to DNFs 💀

So far I’m enjoying the casual tone of the writing, but think Andy is the most pathetic, annoying main character of any book I’ve read recently

This book carries a very arrogant, self-assured vibe and tbh it’s extremely tiring to read. Like, it gives off the “fuck you I’m right” vibe a lot of trans people exude towards under-educated cis people, but surely the majority of the audience is going to be trans or gay people. Idk, I just kind of hate the tone lol

Maybe it’s because I just finished a fantastic, quick paced and lightheartedly deep queer book, but in comparison this book is sooo slow and whiny I’m bored instantly. Pissed off I spent so much money on it so I’m going to stick with it, but I’m not happy about it lmao
