Idk how I’m feeling about the third person and the writing style in general not gonna lie.. seems like a short ish book tho so will prob finish it

Also I’m really confused because goodreads says I’m 50% through this (ish) but the in person copy of the book I has makes it clearly look like I’m well over 3/4 done? 😭

Well… at least something is actually happening now other than spice?

So like… spice spice spice that’s all this book is 😭😭 can we just have ONE SCENE with nothing spicy please??

Gurl.. what is this nonexistent plot? Did they kidnap her or not bc right now they be treating her better than some normal book boyfriends?? Also WHY aren’t they doing anything to her? Like huh…

So I lowkey didn’t read the trigger warnings before buying this book and I see now it’s on the darker side of romance… so gotta see how this goes 😃 one guy is already trying to eat the flames from his lighter???

Honestly idk how I feel about it, it’s good I guess, a little all over the place with not a lot of character interaction but idk if this book is kinda setting up the world and stuff

Not gonna lie, it’s getting a little boring. Basically it’s just a cycle of Medra learning stuff at school and then having the occasional one page interaction with Blake. I just want this story to pick up soon pleaseeee!

This book is very much so like forth wing not going to lie. Younger less experienced girl is enemies with an older more experienced student, there’s mind control, fighting classes, kind of powers, rankings, dragons and riders, and just that same kind of vibe. I mean the book is still really good and really fun to read, I just hope that as the plot progresses it doesn’t turn even more into forth wing. :)

So far enjoying it. Not gonna lie I don’t care what the book says but I’m picturing the main character looking completely different than her description. Also I’m liking that there’s no insta lust and this will hopefully be a genuine enemies to lovers.

So far it’s ok… getting to a bit of the insta-lust and I’m not sure how I feel about that. Kind of hoping it goes away for a while so it’s a genuine enemies to lovers whole thing. Also in my opinion the blurb of this book is slightly misleading
