Honestly, the maxiseries is the worst part of this crossover. The Green Lantern series are infinitely more productive, while the only members of the Risen Twelve that I care about in the maxi are Deadman and Martian Manhunter. It's quite fun to read characters that don't often see the spotlight, especially ones like Jade and Hawk, but I'm not sure how I feel about the end goal. Generation Lost is fantastic though.

Progress check: Solomon Grundy just got thrown into the Sun again by Bizarro.

I haven’t quite figured out the best way to read company-wide crossover events yet but I have been reading every tie-in as I go. I really appreciate the Green Lantern issues, but not everything feels productive towards the plot; I’m scared this is going to take a while.

Might not have a chance to read more this weekend, but the effects of sexual assault on promiscuity and purity seem to be coming into the spotlight. I don’t think this book wastes any space in its narrative or themes.

It’s better worth being late for a chance of winning you than being in time for any other girl in the world.
