I’m reading this for the second time with my family.

Julian lived during the time of the Black Plague, almost died, was healed, and received a vision on before that healing of Christ on the cross. I never stop rereading it. Sits next to my scriptures. The most beautiful words about Christ's love and desire to be "oned" to us. This edition/translation is my favorite out of the three I've tried.

wow . . . I can't even begin to imagine the strength you'd have to have to live through something like this happening to you and your family! It's unthinkable.
