Difficult start but slowly getting into it...

I like this book less than I had hoped for but I do realize it is not that hard to get through!

I am cringing while reading. It is so naive, simply unrealistic. After the first kiss you don't conclude you're getting married. A 5 year old could have made this up. I do have a good reading flow though.

The story really has barely any layers. The romance is blunt, as if a toddler came up with it. Feelings are either super good or super bad, no in between, no combinations. And still I love it, it is a page turner and super comforting. Predictable and still captivating. It works if this is what you are looking for.

Still loving this book but the romance is pretty blunt tbh

Before starting to read this book, I was worried that it would be less enjoyable than the other books I have recently read (due to the reviews I read). From what I can tell now, it could not be less true. It reads so smoothly and is a lot of fun. Just as cozy as I had hoped. Yay!

So far, it's a really good book. I can't stop reading. And I feel so understood. I'm so glad I chose this book!
