I’m really loving this series so far. The tension and build up between Feyre and Rhysand just makes their romance that much better than hers and Tamlins and I thought I really liked theirs in the first book. Also the reveal about Tamlin literally being a part of killing Rhysands mother and sister?!? That’s a crazy twist, and for him to never tell her?? It’s like they really didn’t know each other at all!!

This book is already a LOT spicier than the first and we’re only 30 pages in.

Now it’s really picking up.

Family Book Club!

Had to take a break from it.

Loving the book so far. It’s sort of slow paced I feel like but not in a bad way. It’s doing a good job of keeping me interested and wanting to keep reading on.

Got semi more interesting. The solving of the puzzle has also gotten a bit more interesting. But the real action ship Avery had with the 2 brothers is still a mystery to me. Like why? Why does she seem to be so caught up in them for no reason? It doesn’t make sense to me. It also doesn’t help that she is such an uninteresting main character.

About half way through and it’s a struggle to read this book. It’s just kinda boring. I thought there would be way more puzzles to solve but there isn’t. The characters are also pretty boring as well. Avery is a pretty boring character and just not really relatable? She describes how she needs to hold herself back while around the two Hawthorne bros but why? They aren’t compelling or charming in the least?
