Still listened anyway, Haley Cass can cure Trauma!

Good so far but now my dad might go to prison and I’m annoyed because I just wanted to do a puzzle and listen to this book it is so fun.

Yall I be falling for tropes and Haley Cass got me flipped upside down like the fresh prince getting sent to bel-Air because I never done the friends to more trope books - a nice twist but Obvi to others and Lori Prince immersing me in these books like no other as always.

I told my friend to read this on accident instead of Those Who Wait so now I’m starting even though I was pacing out Haley Cass as treats for myself with Lori Prince - welp here we go ahead prayers please for my gay heart

I think this book just healed my parental rejection trauma of coming out but I’ll check back in with myself after therapy tomorrow.

This author writes books well.

I’m less invested in this couple but I do enjoy it - it’s just the pride stuff that is normal to other books non fantasy that I’m like ehhh but I have a feeling it’s gonna be turned on its head like it always does and I look forward to it

Also the whole underlining coming out story I love

Pride is my least fave deadly sin prob compared to gluttony but I’m PROUD on this eve of Pride to be a glutton for the series

But also Pride is annoying yet Rawnie writes her likable, though blind to herself sometimes… which is on the nose and fun as a reader to understand

The amount they say fine compared the first book is funny as the one thing you can’t say in Book 1. Im enjoying seeing the difference in feind approach while still having the needs is so interesting. The stakes are more grounded despite the supernatural world. Also I enjoy the processing of sexuality and self imposed veneer.

🎧Book two, let’s ride - bought the audiobook because I know this series is gonna do it for me - the world is so fun and well expanded

This story is insane I think I might buy all the physical copies and bedazzle them because this author is so talented

This book has a lot of depth to it and I wouldn’t say it’s Evelyn Hugo romance level but it’s not just churn and burn smut. Good for this author.

Dis shit like the twilight I didn’t know I wanted because I didn’t know I was gay when twilight came out - and then some. Add in the different perspectives adding depth and character and care… and aftercare

Holy moly this should’ve been the sequel
And there should’ve been no happy ever after to the first. :0 this is the correct timeline
