I really couldn’t say who my favorite character is. I should hate the Nightmare, but he actually cares for Elspeth and I think that’s so sweet. 😭

Ofc I love Ravyn, who doesn’t love a man who’d lay his life down for the woman he loves? (This hasn’t happened, only my prediction)

But Renelm Rowan, the man he is. I just know I’d be in love with him if I ever met him one time.

Anyways, this was my favorite book of the ones I read in this series. The previous ones so far weren’t as good as I remembered. Please please let this one be great.

I decided to reread this series as an adult because I remember loving it as a kid. I knew it had darker themes, but what in the actual hell?

I remember Count Olaf trying to marry Violet (a 14-year-old CHILD) for their inheritance, but I thought it was a marriage on paper only. But this man is expecting her to LIVE with him, SLEEP next to him??? Oh absolutely not.

Fuck Mr. Poe. But fuck Count Olaf even more.

I love the plot twists, but I’m trying to decide if I love or hate how Darrow somehow always seems to know what’s going to happen and plans accordingly while everyone else is like “whoaaa”

I don’t remember this book being so good last time. I was pleasantly surprised.

I’m not gonna lie, Tampon reeled me in a few times. I had to snap myself out of it. Rhys, on the other hand, can sink those talons into me anytime and I’d say “thank you.”

I was whole heartedly on the Lizzie hater train because how could I not be? However, I can say that I love little Lizzie with my entire soul. The things she’s been through… I’m actually speechless. I had to stop here because what the fuck.

Hugh is so amazing, I love him I love him I love him. He’s exactly what Lizzie needs and everything she deserves.
