I’m only reading the Handmaids tale to see how it is, so far it’s writing is very inconsistent, it has some moments that are well written, and others that are literally, “the window was left slightly open, showing that it had been left slightly open” (pg 10). It is fairly disturbing, which for a dystopian novel is generally expected.
