This is an insightful book about the experiences and psyche of lesbian, gay and, to a certain extent, bisexual individuals. It contains thought-provoking questions that could be useful in therapy and relationships. However, I felt that it lacked information on the experiences of trans individuals and their partners, especially after transitioning. Given that the 'T' is mentioned in the title, this was disappointing.

It turn out that Page is a gifted storyteller and not just on screen. This is one of those books where you constantly want to tell others to read it is well, because it may help them to give words to their experiences. The combination of rich, contextual and emotional text, and dry, factual information is just right and gives the book a certain kind of je-ne-sais-quoi.
