Pierce Brown’s characterization so far is perfect. He does a really great job at putting the reader in Darrow’s state of mind and feeling the emotions he feels.

I’m still having some issues trying to visualize what this sci-fi world looks like. For some reason my mind can’t easily conceptualize these foreign landscapes.

It’s taking me a min to visualize this world and get interested in the book. But after chapter 4, I think I like where this is going.

a little less than halfway thru the book and the writing is getting so redundant. i’m hoping the pace picks up in the last half but honestly thinking of shelving it.
