Skimming this author's body of work. Nearly 40 books since 2019?! This author is a machine! Prolific & well-disciplined. Likely quit her day job. Blurbs, while well-written, are too long & read like templates once you've read a number of them. One hopes the writing isn't also fill-in-the-blanks. Book covers are cute chick lit but blend in style much like the blurbs. Definitely a machine- & not in a good way.

Cover brought to you by Harold and his purple crayon!! Made me laugh. In a good way. I believe there is something brave about the simple elements of this story. No hackneyed celebs & ice queens. A pretty simple family story and ordinary life. One hopes good writing is here. Bring Holly Home is likely my first choice, but I will probably read this one too as it brought this author to my attention.

Despite the red flag twinning on the front cover, I still want to read this! It just looks fun. Or maybe I just like those morning shows. Maybe I enjoyed rewatching Broadcast News recently. Please don't be conjoined leads here... Should probably read Say Cheese - also looks cute.
