many of those short stories i feel i know them, that they have permeated around in the fantasy genre in someway.

the "a woman alone with her soul" i have heard it and read it a version with a man without any credits to Thomas Bailey Aldrich.

similarly the "look of death" was the base of a Greek Rock song about a villager traveling to Samarkand.

i'm on the 20th story named "An actual authentic ghost"
this book is filled with weird really short stories but all of them are ...
mediocre.
i have read far more interesting things on the internet and i have personally written far move better than most of these so far.

I'm well half way and this book is great in descriptions of the mechs and the tech around them. Not a great story but it takes a lot of points from the descriptions. Obviously the writer was a battletech player and fan.
