This book makes me want to scream at our society for utterly failing children in foster care, low income families, and people struggling with addiction and abuse. Even though it’s fiction, you know parts of this book have happened to struggling kids. It’s so beautifully written. Raw and real!

Absolutely beautiful book! Buddhist monks are truly the best and have so much wisdom and share it so beautifully! Great little reminders about mindfulness and being a good human being.
