Good writing advice, even when sometimes she drifts a bit into her own novels in heavy plot descriptions or page-counts. I see the point but I found myself skimming right through a couple of times.

Messed up family dinamics, a narcissistic mother and a secluded cabin. I'm having a blast.

I love stories about the nasty side of friendships, that spiky side that can be petty, rough and full of contradictions. I'm having a blast.

This was kind of a bummer, I expected a mistery that kept me at the edge of my seat and clinging to the book and what I got was the longest stare contest from two under-developed characters and a kinda-sorta decent twist that fell flat.

I love this book beyond words. Can't wait to re-read once more soon.

Main character has a roomie that is dating a "1,5 meters tall model". Of course you are buddy, if she is modeling for KIDS FASHION. I hate how unrealistic everything is,

What is it with current "literary fiction" that thinks developed character equals (obviously unlikable) genious? How is that not a tired and done trope? I'm already exhausted.

Can't get enough of this book's gorgeous, intimate writing. Proof that you don't have to be pompous to reach a state of beauty and intimacy with words.

I really wanted to like this book. I walked in with good intentions and expected the writer to have those too. This is the third time that major, plot-relevant change has happened to the protagonist off-screen and in the blink of an eye, just because the plot commands it. I really tried, I swear.

Was swept by the beautiful prose and then, around 10% the writer merged one party to another one happening 1 year later with no heads up whatsoever, which made many inconsistencies I was spotting make sense, but felt like an utterly shitty and pretentious move to boast her literary writer experimental score.

This book has helped me right from the start. Love it so far.

This has to be one of my favorite novels of the last few years. Re-reading and it still amazes me with new details.

Good grief how I HATE the horror trend to make young female characters idiots that thinks they are SO WITTY and snarky. Give me something for the cringe and let me die.
