Such hard content. The author keeps it almost devoid of descriptive, emotion driven verbage, but it still hurts to read and know this happened.

So far I'm not loving this book. The first book was fantastic with the dog's persona and voice bringing laughs and giggles and tears in moments. This book is so much more focused on the people around the dog and the people aren't take a great storyline. Not as great for listening to with the kids either. They've not been thrilled either.

So far it's interesting. It jumped right into the action and I'm liking that. But the whole concept is beyond bizarre to me.

This is a little slow for me, but it's still keeping my interest. I'll just have to take my time enjoying it.

Loving it just as much as the first time I read it!
