Let's be so honest for a sec ... Ellis is the issue.
I feel like he's a person who markets himself as 'straight-up' and 'blunt' because he's at the other end of society's conventional opinions / standards but actually he ends up being vicious and punitive to people who have nothing to do with his own troubles.
