I hated it. The writing was great and I was fine with the lack of story but this wasn’t for me. I guess I need a likable character, at least one.

I don’t know what to do with this book. I read hungrily. It captured me. I’m not sure how to feel about the “reveal” though. The afterword made me tear up. I’ll be reading more from this author but not sure wtf I just read.

Can’t get through this one. I wish I understood the rave reviews. I hate it. I hate the writing. The story is convoluted. I’m quitting at 35%.

I do not understand comparing this book to the Stand besides the obvious. I feel like I have to get through this book but it's rough. I don't feel it's well written and I barely care about the characters. It's interesting and I'd like to know how it turns out but I find it almost insulting to compare to The Stand.

I read the reviews- so many 4/5 stars but 70+ pages in and I have to quit. I read as much as I did because of the stars but I just can’t get into it.
