Well this is not in typical Ruth Ware fashion, took me hours to get into it and it’s still not the great time I hoped for .
And she just name dropped another one of her novels in the story 🫣🤦🏻‍♀️ Why though?

This was nuts!

What an ending! I don’t know how I feel about this one.

After reading a few stinkers this year, I am quite pleased with how well this is going!

It’s setting is in South Carolina. And it actually mentions the city I live in! I can’t wait to see how it ends!!!

I’m listening to the audiobook and recommend! It’s like listening to a podcast and audiobook in one. It’s bizarre but good so far!!

I have to say, I’ve had the physical copy since it came out and as it goes my tbr grew and grew. So I hadn’t read it yet even thought it was one of the highest anticipated reads. Well, I took his passing as hard as any fan but when I found out he performed his own book… I immediately got on the list through Libby. He’s like being with a real friend, and I just want to hug him and let him know Jesus loved him

This made me laugh!!

This has been fast paced! I love the description of the atmosphere and how quickly the main storyline is revealed. A little twist just happened that I didn’t expect. Darby has a lot more on her hands than she originally estimated. I hate to put it down but I can’t keep my eyes open ! Not for the lack of a good thrill… just sleep deprived!

Picturesque neighborhood, but I’m waiting on it to pick up a little. Harper needs to grow a backbone and kick Ruby out. So much about this bothers me. I am not a fan of page after page of describing things that hold no bearing to the story itself. Hoping the second half is better!

I’m loving the imagery in this book! It makes me want to vacation in Vermont. But also bring my gun because people are crazy.
I was not prepared for the crazy twists and turns!! I COULD be finishing this book tonight but I can’t keep my eyes open and I don’t want to miss one single word!
