I seriously never have any idea where this book is headed but I’m absolutely loving it. It feels like there’s such deeper meaning to everything and I can’t wait to see how the storyline of Cyril and his birth mother plays out

Slightly confused as to what happened in the most recent part. Charles went to prison for some financial thing, Mrs. Hennessy met Cyril and it seems his mother still works in the tea room but that’s all the info we got. Waiting for more but that all seemed somewhat unnecessary…

I absolutely need to know what ended up happening to Cyril’s birth mom and Jack. Like now

Hey so what the fuck…absolutely hating the direction this is going - even though I understand the pain behind lucy’s inability to choose Susannah it still has me screaming at the pages wondering wtf she’s doing. Susannah deserves way better than Lucy but I also still want them to be together so badly like can we please make that happen in the next 40 pages thank you

I have never before seen yearning for another described in words like I have in this book…the way the author writes Lucy’s feelings for Savannah is poetic

Part two felt like a gut punch to the heart what the fuck…each sentence of this book is so straight and to the point it makes the words feel like torment and poetry at the same time

I think my favorite thing about this book is that absolutely nothing seems to be random. Little things that happened earlier that seemed like nothing at the time end up turning into these huge themes later on it’s wild. This is one of those books that I feel like would be even better the second time around because of this - I feel like I would pick up on so much more

This book is enthralling - such incredible storytelling

This book really feels like watching a movie in my head - not many books are able to give me such a real feeling like that. Im addicted to the story too, I think about it all the time and can’t wait to pick it up again once I set it down

I love how easily the story flows - the characters are so intricate I feel like I know each of them personally
