Finished part 1. I love the portrait painted of the American South. The good and bad are both shown equally throughout part one and it gives a great balance of humor and conflict throughout. The main conflict was introduced near the end and I’m excited to read part two. I would read a whole book about Dill, Jean, and Jem’s summer adventures + their experiences with Boo Radley and the Radley house. Great so far!
