Feels more like a stream of consciousness than a chronological biography, as if he’s telling you a story, trailing off and picking it up sometime later. Earlier chapters were written on the road, before or after concerts but that is slowly abandoned. Maybe also like a conversation goes. I think this form fits his writing and honesty with which he looks at his past. I like him, then I don’t, then I do again. Fun

The guy likes his metaphors and the writing feels forced but I strangely believe him in his honesty and earnest retelling
