drowning in my tears AGAIN. im terrified for the last section of the book..

struggling to put this book down now omg..

i love the way he uses imagery, he has some truly stunning writing. each character even minor ones feel so fleshed out and complex (not the women as much tho .. sigh) but im invested and need to know whats gonna happen with cathy and adam but i have to sleep😭

been my first go at reading sylvia plath, and though im way out of my depth at understanding most of it im so impressed by her talent and feel like i can feel the things shes going through, she has such a unique and beautiful but haunting way of describing things. she was a truly a master of her craft

im really enjoying this so far!! this is a very fun read but actually does go into some pretty serious topics and does a good-ish job at exploring them and i was honestly surprised

this is a fun read so far, the summer vibes are just what i needed and i’m invested in how everything will play out (though its not exactly an unpredictable plot)

devastating and so interesting, a really sad insight into the reality of the atrocities that women have endured throughout history :( it breaks my heart to think about my gender having been suffering so much for so long and still to this day
