Why is this book making me want to spend eternity in the Afterlife? Might decide this is where I’ll end up when I’m gone.

The magic system is very interesting. I’m curious to find out the true depth to Solar’s power and all the ulterior motives of everyone.

I was sent an ARC copy by the author. I’ve just finished chapter three, and I must say I am intrigued. The pacing is impeccable, the characters are complex and the writing is detailed without becoming garbled. Thoroughly enjoyable thus far.

I really tried, but I was so bored by the teen drama I just couldn’t persist. I’m so sorry Bill🫶🏻

So disappointed. Elle Kennedy is one of my favourite authors and this book as not the one. Charlie was an absolute pain. It’s supposed to be a two choose three way relationship but it was completely the Charlie & Beckett show and poor Will just felt like a constant afterthought. If you can’t balance a plot relationship, don’t write about one.
