This is a challenging book that I’m honestly finding altogether tedious. There are far, far too many characters to track, because they seem to have no purpose to the story yet their looks, clothing, stance, history, relations, are all described in detail. However, their characters are not built out, they feel like game pieces put in position on the storyboard. This is at risk of DnF, but pausing for now.
