I’m really enjoying that the script for the movie itself is woven into the story, it gives me an odd sense of foreboding

I have been SO apprehensive about starting another Tremblay book. A Head Full of Ghosts meant SO much to me when I first read it (I think I was like 17?? Maybe 16??) and had left such an impact on me that I included it in my dissertation (now lost, rip).

I’m scared this will burst that bubble.

There is not much book left and things have only started happening

Such an usual style of “self-aware narration” for King. Every so often the narration references our world or saying “lets take our attention to […] instead for a while”. I wonder if this will become anything or not

Weir does a great job at making me feel morally conflicted on something. Like yes I’m sure all the things Stratt is having people do ARE necessary, but I can’t help but have my first reaction to them be negative
