Well this is a fun concept i am unfortunately not digging it rn. It reads like a romance and i do not want to read a romance rn. Im gonna set this aside and hopefully get to it soon. Another book has caught my eye and i cannot wait to begin that one. So this will have to wait till im in the mood for a book like this.

I should be reading this each night but we all know im trash at making habits haha

Im sorry i have to complain again. Well this book is magical and very well written. I love the world abd imagery. It feel like the characters just got flipped on their heads halfway through. Guy doesnt believe in magic is the first to accept she will time travel from her future into his past? This entire book youve been a skeptical ass but now its normal?????

I fear this book would be better if i could shut my brain off but i cannot. Things are not being explained or spoken about yet characters are just excepting it?? What do you mean were not friends yet but she already said yes i was there even though she hasnt gone to that time yet and i just cant.

I feel so bad for Piranesi or whatever his real name is. Poor guy is just trying to do reasearch 😭

I had to scroll reviews for a while just to make sure i am not crazy and thank goodness i am not.
I cannot stand another page of this insufferable not like other girls main character and boring emails about neandrathals. Not even as a hate read. I had high hopes for a Spy Noir set in france but this is absurd. I have to make a whole new shelf for this. I cannot read another page

Im sure this would be better if i understood japanese culture and history more then i do. But i refuse to look up this many different words. It feels like they tried to cram in everything they knew about the Heian era, like theyve done too much research well writing and dont want it to go to waste

I dont like any of these characters. I hope the house eats you all. Also this writing style. Im so lost and not in a good way. Very disjointed. I mean i like the style i think the length of this book is the problem. Trying to cram too much into such short length.

I have never wished so desperately to reach through a book and strangle a man to death, fuck Wil.

Well i have enjoyed this book so far i am going to put it on the backburner for now. The font is so tiny i can feel myself slipping back into the reading slump ive been fighting to be free of. I will come back to this, ill just have to get the ebook to do so.

I know is says ensemble cast in the goodreads description but i was not expecting damn near 15 characters of importance and more that havent been introduced yet but have been mentioned. My brain hurts dude. Im gonna forget all the names
