Let me be real clear! If a daycare worker were to take my child out of the daycare to their HOME (even if it’s “Nextdoor”) without asking my permission. And I show up and my child is not there I’m reporting and suing the entire place for neglect and kidnapping! Immediately calling the police!

I’m really annoyed with how they all keep making assumptions about Alexis. That she’s spoiled, lived a charmed human life, that she’s trying to prove a point about women. Just ask her story instead of being jackasses.

So many plot holes in this whole book. I knew from the first chapter Marshal was the stalker. Obvious. The fact that her bodyguard boyfriends almost completely wrote him off because “she cares about him” would never happen. Then completely wrote off Amy when she suggested it was him.

Realized who wrote this book when I started seeing all the grammatical and spelling errors

This book is fine. I read it because it’s boasts that it’s the best hockey romance since Pucking Around by Dr. Emily Rath. Honestly its world building is meh and there’s a bunch of grammatical errors. Spell check is indeed a thing. The story has merit but it’s just not fleshed out enough to be comparable to Pucking Around.

Kaitlyn is annoying af

This whole “WHaT AbOUt KeVIn?” Shit is annoying as hell 🙄 Leave that boy in the past cuz guaranteed bros breaking up with you every other week to fuck some other bitches.

This whole book would be a DNF if not for granny Doyle and snowball.

This girl just lets her family abuse her and hate her. She just goes on baking their cakes and cooking their food! Get back bone 🙄 there’s too many side characters you can’t remember who’s who. Dudes giving me whiplash with his back and fourth.

Why is Lady Mossi written in 3rd person? I’m so confused

Violet definitely tripped Elijah! Just like she premeditated ripping out Noah’s hair. He’s obviously scared of her and Blythe is ignoring it because “lack of sleep”. She tells Fox that she hates Blythe and “wishes she would die”. Fox is a total douche honestly ignoring Blythe and trying to make her feel crazy or a bad mom.

In chapter 23 her mother in law comes to visit and witnessed Violet freak out and bite Blythe. Then when mother in law says something to her son he reacts like he doesn’t want to hear about his daughter doing something that isn’t perfect. I think the mother in law recognizes that Blythe needs someone to understand how she’s feeling and tries to give her that. Even just a little bit of understanding

Pretty sure the women in this family have a long history of undiagnosed ppd and generational trauma. The nature versus nurture argument and nurture won in this case all these women repeating each others mistakes. Of course the husband acts like she’s over reacting when she tries to explain but he also isn’t actually helping with anything. Blatantly not giving our FMC time to her self to recoup from her days

So if Sacha and Neil haven’t had sex in months then is it possible that her sisters husband wasn’t lying when he said he’d already touched Sacha? Also what’s with the vibes between her and Greg (her other sisters husband)?

So far Neil is a absolute DOUCHE BAG! He’s being a asshole to his wife who is funding his life because he’s depressed doesn’t want to take his meds because then he can’t drink and doesn’t want to work because he’s depressed. She’s rightfully annoyed at him immediately pulling beer out when he said he “couldn’t drive because his meds make him drowsy” the same ones he’s NOT taking! DIVORCE

So far the main character Zoey is a little annoying. How was Roberto supposed to know she meant Canada and not New York if she didn’t specify that. Then who wears suede UGGS as snow boots!? Of course you’re feet are cold!
