Anytime an author writes a baby in the story simply for drama, it pisses me off and the rating is automatically a 3! Especially when the baby is what’s forcing the reconnect between the FMC and MMC. Like if it wasn’t for the baby, would they have even reconnected ? And if not, why not leave it as that vs bringing a baby in and making them have to be together. It’s always this common pattern w/ a Nina book

I just wanna say I’m deeply emotionally involved with Chevy’s story. My heart hurts for him so baddd. He deserves his happy ending after everything he’s been through. From the foster home to the sick man who adopted him.. to him looking out for everybody. Finally getting a moment with Z and his sickness takes that away too. Like please ! My heart just can’t! It’s broken for him. 😭😭😭😭
