Finished volume 16 today! The story makes so much more sense in a binge-reading format, the story of how he has to choose between being a famed and respected _character_ vs living a normal fulfilling life comes through much more clearly. I remember reading this like two years ago and being very confused. Looking forward to reliving the rest of it!

Finally get to re-read this part in full! It's impossible to remember everything that happens when you're reading weekly. I've finished volumes 12/13 so far and wow, I forgot so much of what happens. The characterization is great so far, there are great intense moments and a decent number of comedic moments too. Very excited to keep reading!

This is like my 4th reread of part 1 lol, reading it this time for book club. Meeting tonight was great! I love seeing my friends reactions to the story. Excited to hear their thoughts on the end of part 1 later this month!

Fun, engaging, and an interesting premise. Love the game show vibe. The dungeon reminds me of the labyrinth from Tensura, been a while since I read those books though. Overall an easy read and a real page-turner, which is a nice change of pace from the odyssey lol
