When a comedian writes a book and does the audio narration themselves, you expect them to deliver the story with the same timing and flare as they would in front of an audience, right?

Well, I had to speed this book up just to get through the monotone narration.

"Maybe we should have tested them first," she said.
"That's what they're gonna put on my tombstone."
"Don't be silly, Carl. They don't give us tombstones here."

The Audiobook production is so badly composed, at times it hurts my brain to listen to it. 1) the background music/effects are way too loud and 2) the narrators rusty, deep voice is especially hard to hear through all those fighting scenes especially.

Too bad, since other audiobook productions are really enjoyable (like Tress and the emerald sea).
