ah, the writer is only 20. I guess that can excuse the bad writing and the fact that she summarizes and explains things that happened earlier in the same book.

How does this have a 4.0 rating on here?! these people must never have read the VA books. It's so painful how stupid every person in this book is. This writer needed an editor on this book, not just a mediocre proofreader.

Glad this was free. It's Vampire Academy's defective clone. It's trying so hard but instead is awkward and nonsensical.

I read this a while back but as actors for the movie are announced I don't remember half or what they did in this specific book so I figured I'd read again.

only really making it through because I know this is the last book and this over-long storyline will finally be over by the end.

3 hours later I'm done with the book. entirely too fast!

Jace has gone from barely likeable in book 1 to totally unlikeable in 2. Clary has gone from cute but meh in 1 to a barely involved narrator in 2. having to force my way through the book.
