Damnit that ending!!! I remembered it was big… but dang. I’m anxious to dive back in!

Re-listening and remembering when I first read this. Love this book and ready for book 2! But I need to fill in some gaps in my memory haha.

Crushed me. Definitely worth going over the first book again. This roped me in so hard. The extra character addition was slightly confusing at first, but she did a great job with making it super intentional. And then the way she brought it allllllll together- chefs kiss 👌🏼. I cried at the end. HARD. And have a deep appreciation for how the end left room for a third book….. someday.

A little refresher before Light Wielder 🤩

Reading again bc it’s been too long and I need a refresh before Ballads. It’s SO GOOD.

Reading bc Anne and Dakota are in the movie… and I have high standards for them being the “Colleen movie reenactment redemption”. Fingers crossed.

Def with the year wait for book 3. So far I REALLY love this series.

This series cracks me up. The FMC is hilarious and witty. Fun read.

Guessing I’m at 50%… chapter 34. Pretty sure I know “who’s in charge”. Also- this is a fun quick listen while I drive and do house chores. I do like a good mystery.

I’m dying to know what’s really going on in this Universe…. Where does everyone actually come from? Who are they really? And damnit ima cry if/when something bad happens to Samkiel.

It took me a normal while to adjust to this book after finishing a different series- but I’m absolutely loving it. The way the characters are getting to know each other, how the reader can feel where it may go- but damn if Amber doesn’t make it difficult along the journey. Def filling my emptiness from my last series’ characters being gone Lol
