Time for a reread almost 20 years later 🙃 one of my fave series as a kid! Planning to reread all my teen favorites. Especially the series I never got to finish

Time for a reread with the new book coming out in 2 months!

The writing is keeping me engaged. It just feels like a very long unnecessary intro

It’s holding my interest so far. A lot of info dumping with stuff I will never remember. The world building could have been done a little bit simpler

I don’t think I’ve liked Benji since meeting him in the beginning. I feel like my dislike for him is gonna become valid soon.

Giving it another chance

The audiobook narrator voice is soothing

I’m in the worst slump of my life. I can’t get into anything new. Hoping rereading some of my favorites helps me. It’s been years since reading this and I still enjoy her writing style!

Not bad. Keeping my interest so far. It’s definitely not a 5 star but I’m enjoying it

I watched the movie first and I loved it! It has helped me visualize everything better too

I was expecting something different.

Thank GOD Audrey’s not an idiot. She’s not taking forever to figure things out and when she is confronted with something impossible, she doesn’t try to come up with a lame excuse. She takes things at face value.

I usually don’t like dual timelines of the past and present but this author does a really good job with it. Both timelines you get sucked it just wanting to know what is going on

I’m surprised by how much I’m into this story. I keep wanting to read to know what happened. I hope to find a good stopping point so I can sleep lol

After reading the first chapter I don’t see myself being a fan of the fmc Audrey
