I finished part 1 of the book. I wasn't catching on and enjoying the story at first but it has grown on me. It is definitely going to become a love story by the end. But I have enjoyed hearing about the games being made. I think the line about forgiving people no matter what being harder than it seems is foreshadowing that will come up again later

I feel as though the next portion of this book is going to continue gut punching me in the way the section I just finished did. Oh no.

After reading the first part of the book, it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It is very easy to picture personal experiences through the lens of Charlie as your own. I hope the story continues this way as I read more!
