I would recommend this book to learn about the Orthodox Christian religion. It explains the process of the liturgy and the inseparable relationship it bears with communion, where the presence of Christ really exists in the bread and wine. It's quite different even from Catholicism though it does bear resemblances. It's also very culturally insightful to understand the Eastern perspective on Christianity.
