This book is kind of slow, so it’s taking me forever to get through it!

Have to DNF. I went a long period without reading and I just couldn’t get into this like I thought I could.

This book had a slow start, but it’s picking up now. The slow start had me in a reading slump. I picked it up again this morning and it’s finally moving along. Almost done! I’m not sure if I will be reading the second one in the series.

I’m having a really hard time finishing this book. It’s really slow. I hadn’t picked it up for several weeks. I’m determined to finish this today so that I can get started on something else.

This book took me a while to finish. So many people spoke so highly of it and I only picked it up because it was a book club book. I lacked the understanding of the reasoning behind it. If felt like I kept waiting for a climax that never came. Maybe I’m just not smart enough to understand the intellectual complexity behind it , but I never would have picked it up if it weren’t a book club book!

Is this whole book just one chapter?

This is a slow read for me because it’s not really a genre that I enjoy. I really thought I’d like it more than I am!
