Hating it so far. The stuff in the Middle Ages is interesting, but you have to wade through so much stupidity stuff in the present timeline. I swear I can’t with these people and their land lines. That whole part is profoundly uninteresting and incredibly tedious. It just repeats and repeats

Liking it a lot so far! The count is really manipulative though, kinda less of a hero in this revenge story then I first assumed

I was starting to hate it so much. Like it was on the verge of passing catcher in the rhy as my least favorite book of all time. It is rather misogynist, has horribly racist caracteres and stereotypes, and seems dead set on romanticizing the confederacy while villainizing the union actively freeing slaves.
I have now met M Ravenwood, and he is the first part of the book I am unironically enjoying. Link is ok too.
