Stilted, overly descriptive staccato sentences, like every noun must have an adjective that has been plucked from a bag. Short paragraphs, I feel like I’m a child reading a chapter book. But interaction between characters is interesting and I’m not going to stop reading.

Sentences are stilted and short, but narrative style has got me interested and wanting to know more. Just finished chapter 2 so not a lot to base opinion on yet.
