Amazing chapter. Talks about the three warrior within men and how it all ties back into lack of boundaries when it comes to their relationship , whether that be family relationship or personal. Using analogies like iron and copper to compare these, as well as stories from the Odyssey and other text was such a great thing to read.

Refers to this place of development as "the garden" for men, and helps them recognize the feminine in women as they begin to draw attraction towards that energy.

"Once in the garden - which may take 10 years to develop - has been experienced, then we can say the young man has begun to honor his own soul, has learned to become a lover, and has learned to dance."

Talks more on the three kings present in a man - the sacred, the political, and the inner king. These were interesting to dive into, and relate them to how a boy is raised, how present his own father is in his life (physically, emotionally) and how lack of or abundance of can shape how men turn out later in life. Specifically - when it comes to self perception of their own value

Great section of the book. Really started talking more about initiation of young men, to becoming men in various cultures and the symbolism behind it, as well as current difficulties current men face when it comes to expressing themselves, being present, and setting boundaries for themselves

Great intro to this book. Excited to dive in more
