The beauty of the contents of this novel is only rivalled by this absolutely beautiful limited edition copy that I have. Steinbeck has such an intimate understanding of human nature it's scary.

This book has really picked up in the second half. Again, not life changing, but nonetheless very engaging and informative, the rating has moved (in my mental consideration) from 3 to a 3.5 (if such a thing were possible on Goodreads)

Positively mid so far, but no real tripes with it tbh.
