I am having trouble with the book so far. It is incredibly well written, and I will definitely seek out more of Michael Crummy’s work, but the story is incredibly violent and gruesome. I understand that we are not meant to like the characters but I struggle with the discomfort that I know I am meant to feel. On we go though.
