I'm not in the headspace right now to deal with Túrin Turambar. It's either pause there indefinitely or skip ahead. I chose to skip. Túrin's tale in summary: everything sucked, and then they died. Just your average Greek tragedy. 🙈

Oh, yes, Lost Tales Beren and Luthien. I remembered Tevildo, Prince of Cats, because how could I not. But I somehow forgot Beren being glamoured into a cat, and that Luthien used to have a brother. 😂

I don't think I could name another story where a character so clearly sees the enemy for what it is and yet still falls prey to its machinations because he's such a hot-headed dingbat and ends up doing far more destruction as a result. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm really worried I'm going to forget how to pronounce Ilúvatar before the end of this book. He keeps putting the stress on the first "a" instead of the "u". And I've sped this up to 1.35x and he's still too slow. I wasn't expecting this from Serkis. 🙈

How do you have accent marks and still put the stress the wrong syllable?
