I just finished the first novella of this book and I truly loved it. I didn’t really like the first book until the very end, but this one makes me eager to read the next book. Warner has definitely grown on me ( I hated his character in the first book cause why are you being so weird) but now it makes a lot more sense to me. I feel like I can relate to him in a lot more ways than I can with Juliette.

I just found out that the empress is also the Vipress from the legends like what. That’s going to be a really interesting fight/combat between Rin and her.

First couple chapters in and I’m enjoying the beginning of this book way more than the last. It gets right into action right away. Rin is having alot of trouble controlling her power and I’m not sure if she’ll be able to leash it. She’s already lost 3 friendships to her power and god. I wonder if she’ll lose more before the end of the book. I hope she’s able to find a way to control the god inside her.
