This book is surprisingly good so far 👍.

So far it's just "ok”. It's missing some of the pacing and humor that shines in the DCC series

Alix Harrow books always include a unique twist of magical realism, and a heartbreaking character study that pulls at the heartstrings. I love it 💕

I love how we are starting to get more of the overarching theme in this book. Also, some of the former crawler stories are absolutely heartbreaking. I love the direction the series is headed.

This book is excellent. The narrative begins from youth and continues through adulthood, reminding me of some of my favorite tales including Robin Hobb and Patrick Rothfuss.

I can't continue with this book. It's like every word is some made up concoction that must be learned. I should have known when I saw the ten page dictionary in the beginning of the book but I had heard good things and love court intrigue. Unfortunately, I don't love it enough to put myself through reading another page of this book.

Can't wait for the reunion!
