Hmmm I don’t think I’ll finish it if I don’t like it and I’m halfway through. It’s one of those books where every character is very annoying. I didn’t think it was funny either, just annoying so idt I’m the target audience

There are soooo many proper nouns in the first 50 pages I’m not going to remember any of these characters or places or gangs and I hope that’s ok

Shoot. Another fantasy book that I learn is YA after I get it from the library. Everyone said it was so good though and I need a Red Rising/ Fourth Wing type book in my life asap

They explain queer topics as if you’re a 60 year old woman who has never heard or thought of the concept at all, but I think that’s the audience. I think I know how it will end but hopefully I’m wrong because it was my guess at like page 20

60% done and no mermaids 🙄 so far it’s a bad version of Bury my Bones in the Midnight Soil

This book is putting me in a reading slump should I dnf even though everyone says it’s 5 stars?
